Pictures!

Here we are at the fabric market.
This is where we're sleeping.

Our first glimpse of Liberia from the plane. (The window was steamy!)

The Lott Carey Mission School Library (where the training will be held)

The Lott Carey Mission School nursery room - Phylis talking to Mrs. Allen, the Vice Principal of Instruction.

Choosing patterns for African dresses - Bee can make anything!

The street by the fabric shop in Monrovia

Beth and Mrs. Allen by the school bell at Lott Carey. The bell was a gift to the school from a LCM class.

School is out, but there is an inter-school football league and they were having a game. The crowd was very enthusiastic, and you can see three little boys here who were selling snacks.

A termite hill on the side of the road - it's huge!

The training room (library) set up for training.

  3. Reminds me so much of my Peace Corps experience. I sort of miss bucket showers. It had a way of reminding me that I really can live with less and I should be thankful for what I have. Thanks for the posts. As Mr. Iden said- keep em comin.
