The LOEP Teacher Training Team will be leaving for Liberia on or around February 3. Please come back and visit with them here as they embarq on this wonderful journey.
I'm sending my congratulations to the whole team who have worked so hard to realize this trip. In my experience of doing teacher training in early childhood education in Liberia, I know of no better way to help boost the educational standards for children. The teachers are so hungry for information. It will be such a joy for all of you. If you have the time, please try to connect up with some of the co-trainers from the LEAP Friends of Liberia project. They have a network that can perhaps support your training once you leave. Many blessings on this great adventure. Joan Safran Hamilton
Joan: Thank you for your warm words of encouragement. Please know that your Early Childhood Education Manual provided me with tremendous insight as I developed the training curriculum for the LOEP training project. Our training team is very grateful that you were so willing to share your thoughts and keen understanding regarding the educational needs of Liberian children and teachers
Beth, I wish good luck and much fun to you and your team. Thanks for emailing about this blog - I'll be enjoying your adventures! May the Good Lord Bless You and Keep You and Bring You Home Safe! Linda
